Who is Robinson Fitness Boot Camps?
We have been running Boot Camps in Phoenix, AZ. for over 6 years since September 2005. We are one of the longest running, most successful Womens Boot Camps in Phoenix. We have trained thousands of women and helped them become fitter, leaner and healthier. Jeff Robinson is our owner and a very experienced trainer who holds a BSc in Nutrition and 3 current fitness certifications. He designs all the workouts for both Boot Camp locations. Please click on our VIDEOS & TESTIMONIALS page to view and read how much our members love what we do and how long they typically stay with our program.

Sounds great! How do I get started?
Click on our FREE PASS & FREE STUFF page, print the FREE pass form and just show up at either our Chandler or Mesa location. No registration or sign-up is required in advance. The FREE pass form also doubles as our waiver form should you decide to join, so you never need to do any more paperwork than just this one form. We like to keep it simple, less paperwork and more training!

Where are you located?
We have locations in East Mesa and North Chandler. Pick which location is closer for you and show up with your FREE 1 Day Pass. Hand it to your trainer BEFORE you set-up your mat and start working out. Locations are listed at the bottom of our Welcome to Boot Camp page and Directions can be printed on our Free 1 Day Pass page.

Is it really only $49 per month for 2012?
Yes, you are able to join for a discounted rate of $49 per month during 2012, which is half of the standard rate of $99 per month. This $49 monthly rate will continue to be honored month after month until you quit or 2012 ends. Compare our pricing to other Boot Camps or hiring a personal trainer. You will see what a value our Boot Camps truly are.

Do I have to sign a contract if I join? Do I have to give notice if I quit?
There is no contract to sign and no notice required to quit. However once you quit, you will lose your loyalty pricing discount of $49 per month. Should you re-join at a future date, you will be charged the standard $99 fee per month as the $49 discount rate is not re-offered to anyone who quits and then re-joins later. There is no exception to this policy.

Do I need to be in shape before I show up and can I work at my own pace?
No, you do not need to be in shape! We will teach and guide you through the basic movements that we use in our workouts and all the possible variations. We have members who are fit and those who have never worked out in their life.
You always work at your own pace and are pushed and encouraged based on your current level of fitness. All we want is for you to give your best effort during each workout. You can rest anytime you wish and re-join the workout when you are refreshed.

Is this done outdoors?
Yes, we train outdoors all year round, rain or shine. You don't need a gym membership, bulky machines or racks of heavy weights to sculpt a fitter, healthier, leaner body. Training outdoors will make your body much more functional by building core strength, muscle tone, and cardiovascular endurance than sitting on a machine or walking on a treadmill ever will.

Do you wear Army fatigues and yell at me?
The only people who should wear military style gear is the proud people protecting our country in the Armed Forces. For a fitness trainer to do so is an insult to those brave men and women. We aren't preparing you for war, we are helping you become fitter, leaner and healthier. We encourage and educate you with a healthy dose of humor thrown in to the mix! Our Boot Camps are challenging and fun! We spend lots of time laughing while we are working hard.

What should I bring when I come?
You MUST bring water, a workout mat and a pair of light dumbbells. This is MANDATORY every day!

What type of results can I expect?
Although you will probably start feeling better and stronger immediately, new members can expect about a 15-50% improvement in strength and endurance following the first month. In addition, our findings show that flexibility, agility and body composition are improved. Subjective things like increased mental toughness, energy levels, improved sleep and reduced joint stiffness are also reported.
How lean you may get depends on how many workouts you attend, your daily calorie intake and expenditure, your metabolism and how dedicated you to are to the task.

What is a typical Boot Camp class like?
There isn't a typical class as every day the workout changes. We may do 10, 20, 30, 60 second drills, 2 minute exercises, cardio drills, interval training, large muscle groups, isolation work, repetition counting, partner drills, etc. Every workout is different! During the first month you will learn between 100-200 different exercises and variations.

What type of exercises do you do?
As mentioned before you will learn 100-200 exercises in a month long Boot Camp so it is outside the scope of this article to list them all.
The list is literally endless, especially if we include all the variations we add to any of our exercises. Some of the stuff I don't even have a name for yet! I promise you will NEVER be bored!

How long are the classes and do I have to attend every day?
Each Boot Camp class lasts 45 minutes and we hold classes 5 mornings a week, Monday through Friday from 5:30-6:15AM. Attend whatever days you wish, you may come and go from Boot Camp as you please. We also don't mind if you have to leave class earlier than 6:15AM, but we do ask that you start on time.

How many people are in a class?
Every single class is different depending on what day, what week of the Boot Camp we are in, the weather, school breaks, new intakes, etc. Our trainers are experts at dealing with any size class, be it small, medium or large. Come and be amazed!

Can Men and Women under 18 join?
No, men can not join as we are women only. Yes, women under the age of 18 may join but only if accompanied by a paying adult member. Print your free 1 day pass and waiver form and make sure it is signed by both the younger member and their guardian or parent and both people attend.
