Who is Robinson Fitness and why should I try your Fitness Boot Camp?
Good question! I'll try to keep this short and sweet. First of all, we have been running Robinson Fitness in the East Valley for the last 5 years since September 2005. We are one of the longest running, most successful Boot Camps in Phoenix. We have trained thousands of people and have helped them become fitter, leaner and healthier. Ok, you are very experienced in Fitness Boot Camps, but what else makes you unique?
I'm proud to say that we created the concept of the FREE 4 week Boot Camp, we pioneered $99 Boot Camp member pricing in Phoenix (helping drive down the cost of other Boot Camps in the process), former employees who have been trained and helped to gain their fitness certifications by us have gone on to open their own successful Boot Camps (even copying all our program features, which is the ultimate testimonial!), and we are always striving to offer the absolute best workout program for the lowest price. We believe Boot Camps should be affordable and a fantastic value. We believe we have successfully accomplished that with our program!
 
Ok but, why is it FREE?
That's easy too! Two main reasons: Boot Camp is not for everyone. So, to make sure it is something you really like without having to invest your hard-earned money we will train you for up to 4 weeks FREE. We don't want anyone to pay and then end up not finishing their first 4 weeks, so we make it FREE to try it out. Plus, we think it is good business and good karma to return something to the community that supports us.

Easy! Go back to our FREE 4 WEEK BOOT CAMP PAGE and fill out the sign up form for your FREE Boot Camp. I'll send you a confirmation e-mail within 24 hours, usually sooner. I can also confirm by text, if you prefer.
 
Am I under any obligation or pressure to join?
Not at all!  We spend our time training you, not selling you and our program really speaks for itself. We don't have to sell anyone at all. The only pressure you may get is other members telling you how much they like it while you are making friends in the group. Oury members are our best sales pitch! Plus, we save our energy for educating and encouraging you.
 
What if I love it and want to do another 4 weeks after my FREE 4 weeks?
That would be great! We only charge $99 for a 4 week Boot Camp with 20 workouts scheduled per each 4 week program. That's less than $5 a workout for training with a certified and experienced fitness trainer. Feel free to compare our pricing to other local Boot Camps or hiring a personal trainer. You will see what a value our Boot Camps truly are.
 
Do I receive anything else if I become a paying member?
All paying members receive a FREE one-time 30 minute massage, a FREE Boot Camp t-shirt, our comprehensive Robinson Fitness Boot Camp Nutrition Plan and weekly email newsletters with healthy Boot Camp approved recipes, fitness tips, and nutrition advice. We also provide e-mail support for any nutritional or fitness questions you may have outside of class.
 
Do I have to sign a contract if I join or stay for a minimum time?
Not at all! Members come and go as they please. You only pay when you want to attend another 4 week Boot Camp. There is no contract and no notice required to start or stop. We make it so easy. A lot of other Boot Camps will try to lock you into "recurring payments" for up to 12 months. Not us! You get our best rate regardless of how short or long you stay with us.
 
Do I need to be in shape before I show up and can I work at my own pace?
No, you do not need to be in shape! We have members who are fit and those who have never worked out in their life. Yes, you always work at your own pace. You are pushed and encouraged based on your current level of fitness. All we want is for you to give your best effort during each workout. You can rest anytime you wish and re-join the workout when you are refreshed.
 
Is this done outdoors?
Yes, we train outdoors all year round.  You don't need a gym membership, bulky machines or racks of heavy weights to sculpt a fitter, healthier, leaner body. The human body was meant to exercise itself outdoors in the fresh air taking advantage of our natural surroundings. We use moderate weight dumbbells and bodyweight only full body exercises to challenge you in ways that machines and heavy weights can not duplicate. Training outdoors will make your body much more functional by building core strength, muscle tone, and cardiovascular endurance than sitting on a machine or walking on a treadmill ever will. Try our FREE 4 weeks and see for yourself. You will not want to workout in a gym ever again!
 
Do you wear Army fatigues and yell at me?
The only people who should wear military style gear is the proud people protecting our country in the Armed Forces. For a fitness trainer to do so is an insult to those brave men and women. The only two things a properly run Fitness Boot Camp program has in common with a military Boot Camp is that each have a start and finish date and when you complete the course you are physically and mentally stronger. The similarities end there! We aren't preparing you for war, we are helping you become fitter, leaner and healthier. Well, maybe you can battle through Costco with a full cart quicker! LOL! We encourage and educate you with a healthy dose of humor thrown in to the mix! Our Boot Camps are challenging and fun! We spend lots of time laughing while we are working hard. 
 
Are you certified and insured and have permits?
Jeff is a Certified Fitness Trainer with over 13 years of experience and Robin is a Certified Boot Camp Instructor. Both Jeff and Robin carry their own liability insurance polices. Our policies also name the City of Chandler and Mesa School District as additional insured. We pay all required rental fees in advance and carry the proper park and school permits with us. There are many so-called "Boot Camps" with uncertified trainers, no liability insurance and no written permission to be in their parks or locations. Always ask first to make sure you are dealing with professionals.
 
What if I'm injured, can I still join?
I require that FREE members NOT have any current limiting shoulder, knee, back or wrist injuries. You need to be able to do one or two push-ups (on knees is allowed), jog a block and climb a flight of stairs without pain. I reserve the right to politely ask anyone to leave Boot Camp if I believe their injury is limiting. This is not personal training and if you desire to workout with an injury you are better off with one-on-one training or physical therapy. Please sign up for your FREE 4 weeks after you recovered fully from your injuries. Please note, being out of breath or unfit is not an injury! LOL!
 
Do I need to know anything before I show up?
No knowledge on anything even remotely related to working out is necessary to come to our Boot Camp. We will teach and guide you through the basic movements that we use in our workouts and all the possible variations. Every day you will learn more and more exercises and proper form.
 
What should I wear when I come?
Comfortable workout gear and sneakers. We are more the cotton T-shirt and shorts or pants crowd, rather than Lycra and Spandex. Wear what makes you comfortable. Please make sure your shirt is long enough so you don't spend the entire workout tucking it back into your pants! Be prepared to buy new workout clothes after a month or two as you lose inches and pounds!
 
What should I bring when I come?
You should bring water, a towel, a workout mat and a pair of 5 pound dumbbells.
 
Will it work for me?
That is very dependent on what your goals are. If getting leaner, stronger, faster, more flexible, and improving your body composition are some of your goals, then yes, our Boot Camp will work for you. All you have to do is show up, follow what the trainer tells you, try your best, rest when you need it, and have a good time
.
 
What type of results can I expect?
Although you will probably start feeling better and stronger immediately, new members can expect about a 15-50% improvement in strength and endurance following the first 4 weeks. In addition, our findings show that flexibility, agility and body composition are improved. Subjective things like increased mental toughness, energy levels, improved sleep and reduced joint stiffness are also reported. How lean you get depends not only on how many workouts you attend and how you apply yourself, but also depends on your calorie intake and total calorie expenditure. Exercise and nutrition must go hand in hand for the ultimate results.
  
What is a typical Boot Camp class like?
There isn't a typical class as every day the workout format changes. We may do 30 second drills, 2 minute exercises, cardio drills, interval training, large muscle groups, isolation work, repetition counting, partner drills, etc, etc. Every day is different from the next. During the 4 weeks you will learn between 100-200 different exercises. You will always leave here having learned something.
 
How long are the classes and do I have to attend every day?
Each Boot Camp class is one hour long. But you are allowed to arrive late if you can't avoid it and/or leave early due to work and family commitments. We offer Boot Camp 5 mornings a week, Monday through Friday from 5:30-6:30AM. While perfect attendance is highly recommended it is certainly not required. Come and go from Boot Camp as you please. The important thing is to attend as often as possible for the best results!
 
How many people are in a class?
Every single class is different depending on what day, what week of the Boot Camp we are in, the weather, school breaks, new intakes, etc. Our trainers are experts at dealing with any size class, be it small, medium or large. Come and be amazed!
 
What type of exercises do you do?
As mentioned before you will learn 100-200 exercises in a 4 week Boot Camp so it is outside the scope of this article to list them all. But squats, lunges, bodybuilders, planks, mountain climbers, push-ups, step-ups, jumping jacks, burpees, sit-ups, crunches, leg lifts, curls, kickbacks, presses are just some of the very basic moves you will perform. Then we start to get into more advanced moves like, Ninja jumps, reptiles, split jump lunges, scissors, staggered hands, dive bombers, hot planks, one arm bb's, rollers, etc. The list is literally endless, especially if we include all the variations we add to any of our exercises. I promise you will NEVER be bored!
  
Is it worth it?
We definitely would say it is worth it, but we are a little biased. The only person who can truly tell you if it is worth it, is you. The only way you can objectively know is to show up and participate for your FREE 4 weeks.
 
Can my girlfriend sign up for the FREE 4 week Fitness Boot Camp?
Yes, the more the merrier. Just make sure all your friends sign up on this website first. Everyone must register online before they show up for their first day. See you there!
 
Can Men and Women under 21 join?
No, Men can not join as we are Women Only and any women under 21 can join, but will need to pay the $99 fee for a 4 week Boot Camp, but we only extend the FREE offer to Women who are 21 and over. The reasons are varied and based on 5 years of Boot Camp experience. Please respect our rules for the FREE offer and don't ask us to make an exception. Thank you.
